Slow Down Father Time

I've been doing some soul searching lately and it's got me thinking about my time on this amazing place we call earth. I've had a great life. Yes, there's been ups and downs, but that's all apart of life and it's made me the person I am today. I guess I've been doing all this soul searching because my 40th birthday is coming up fast It just makes me ask the question, where did all the time go? It seems like yesterday that I had just graduated from high school and had my entire life ahead of me. Those were exciting yet scary times. I've come to the realization that the older I get the faster time speeds by. I look at my 5 year old daughter and I can't get over that it was over 5 years ago that she came into our life's. What a precious gift she has been. We have enjoyed every single moment with her. I wish there was a way that I could slow down the hands of time. Any suggestions? Becoming a stay at home mom has really changed my life. I remember sitting at work and thinking the time is passing so slowly. It felt like an eternity until 5 pm, quitting time. The past five years of being a stay at home mom have gone so very fast. The days just rush by at the speed of light. I wish there was some amazingly magically way to slow down time, but until that discovery is made I'm enjoying every moment of my life no matter how fast the time seems to go. Thanks for stopping by today and reading my random ramble.

Hugs

Staying at home is one way to enjoy your time with your kids--but you cannot slow it down unfortunately. It just picks up pace as they get older. Just enjoy it with them because they are off to college the minute you blink.
